Maisy Goes to the Crowthorne Nursery

In June, the National Day Nurseries Association (NDNA) and Walker Books teamed up to celebrate 30 years of Maisy. The children at Kids Inc Day Nursery Crowthorne invited a storyteller in to celebrate with an interactive story time, games and stickers.

The campaign included our pre-school children enjoying and interacting with the storyteller, Liz Fost, as she told the story ‘Maisy Goes to Nursery’ and encouraged the children to add in other characters.

Purnima Tanuku OBE, Chief Executive of NDNA, said, “Maisy is such a popular children’s character and one that many families will know really well, given its huge success over the last 30 years. ‘Maisy Goes to Nursery’ offers children an insight into a setting and some of the fun activities children may do whilst at nursery. It’s fantastic to be celebrating Maisy’s legacy and sharing this story with children. This campaign is not only a great way to celebrate Maisy but a fantastic way to support nurseries with storytelling and settling children into settings.”
