Kids Inc Day Nursery Chingford received a ‘GOOD’ Ofsted Report 2021

Following a recent Ofsted inspection at Kids Inc Chingford nursery, we are delighted to announce that we received a ‘GOOD’ outcome.  We would like to say a massive well done to the Chingford team for continuing to nurture, educate and inspire the children in their care.

The two Ofsted inspectors were complimentary about both the team and children, describing the children:

‘Children are happy as they confidently arrive at nursery. They are enthusiastic to engage in activities that are planned around their individual interests.’

‘Children’s behaviour is good. They take turns to answer questions. They show empathy to their friends as they support others when they struggle with tasks.’

‘Younger children are developing secure emotional attachments.’

The staff team at the nursery have a strong passion for childcare and Ofsted recognised that:

‘Staff maintain good interaction with children during personal care routines.’

‘Communications between parents and the staff team are effective.  Parents express that they are well informed about their children’s welfare and learning. They value the daily feedback that they receive.’

‘Staff receive effective support from managers and value regular supervision meetings.’

‘The curriculum is effectively planned and sequenced. Staff regularly observe and track children’s progress.’
