Kids Inc Nurseries Donated New Toys to Local Businesses

by Kids Inc Nurseries | 17 December 2021 | News

In the lead-up to Christmas, Kids Inc Nurseries have donated toys to King George Hospital, Queens Hospital and Barkingside Food Bank. Christmas can be a hard time for many families, and we firmly believe that every child deserves to experience the spirit of Christmas and giving.

Who are the toys for?

When shopping for toys, Kids Inc Nurseries cater for children of all ages, and even choose a selection of gifts for parents and adults. King George Hospital and Queens Hospital give gifts to children who are in the hospital over the Christmas period to make sure they are still able to celebrate the most beautiful time of year. The Barkingside Foodbank donate food and toys to local families in need, focusing on ensuring they have all the essentials that they need over the winter months.

How can you help?

By supporting those around you, you are helping all families enjoy their Christmas, too. This can be done by donating a tin of food to your local foodbank in the supermarket or gifting unwanted toys to charities over Christmas.

Why do Kids Inc Nurseries donate toys?

As a childcare provider, our aim is to ensure that all children are nurtured, educated and inspired through their early years. As well as the children who attend our nurseries, we want to be able to play a part in helping all children have the best possible start by supporting other businesses and charities in the local communities where our nurseries are located.

What else are Kids Inc doing to support others?

Over the last few months, all nurseries in the group have been participating in fundraising activities for Haven House Children’s Hospice. Keep an eye out in your nursery newsletters and our social media on how you can get involved!
