Kids Inc Day Nursery York Road receive a ‘GOOD’ Ofsted Report – 2021

In September 2021, Kids Inc York Road received a ‘GOOD’ in their Ofsted inspection. We would like to say well done to the York Road Nursery Manager, Ritu, and the rest of the team for continuing to nurture, educate and inspire the children in their care.

The Ofsted inspectors were complimentary about both the team and the children, describing the children:

‘Children are welcomed into a safe, nurturing and calm nursery environment.’

‘Children are engaged well in activities and learning. They are eager to join in and participate.’

‘Pre-school children learn to form letters and enjoy being creative. Younger children develop their language skills well.’

‘A well-designed curriculum helps all children to make good rates of progress.’

‘Children develop their vocabulary well.’

The staff team at the nursery have a strong passion for childcare and Ofsted recognised that:

‘The manager and staff have a shared vision for what they want children to learn and achieve. Children become independent, considerate and well-behaved learners.’

‘Staff have clear plans for children and know their key children well. Staff successfully plan a good range of activities to help support the children to develop skills across all areas of learning.’
