Kids Inc Day Nursery Clarence Avenue Launch Day

Following the opening of our Clarence Avenue nursery in September, the team held an official Clarence Avenue launch day on 6 October 2021. The day was organised to celebrate the new setting, welcome the new staff team and finally open the doors to children, parents and visitors.

All of the guests were greeted with goody bags and welcome drinks, followed by a tour of the nursery.

Throughout the day, we had teams from Redbridge Early Years and That Nursery Life come along to see the nursery in action, as well as the senior management team, the training team and all those based at our head office.

Kids Inc Nurseries were lucky enough to greet the Mayor of Redbridge as their guest of honour. The mayor was interested in hearing the story of the nursery’s journey and the building challenges we experienced along the way. The Mayor officially announced the nursery opening and thanked the Kids Inc team for their work over the last 18 months, for keeping ‘hub’ nurseries open during the first lockdown last year and for contributing so much to the local community in Redbridge, from supporting key workers to making donations to local hospitals and key workers.

The Kids Inc Clarence Avenue Team

Each team member at Clarence Avenue has been carefully selected to be part of our mission to ‘nurture, educate and inspire’ those in our care. We take great pride in supporting our teams with their professional development and actively promote those who show progression and dedication. Both the Nursery Manager, Violeta, and the Deputy, Gemma, have worked their way up through our other local nurseries. They are fully conversant with Kids Inc policies, procedures and ethos, and will both be an asset to the Clarence Avenue nursery.

Senior Manager, Stevie Deeble, says:

Kids Inc Nurseries is a growing nursery group with twelve sites currently located in and around the M25 area. Clarence Avenue is one of the smaller nurseries in the group and is our first totally purpose-built setting.

During the design process, all aspects were carefully considered to create a provision with the latest health and safety features, spacious rooms, a roof garden and child-friendly furniture and equipment to enable the staff team to enhance the children’s care and education.
