Roald Dahl Day – Thursday 13 September
Bring in your favourite Roald Dahl story book to share with your friends and dress up as your favourite character from that story. Best dressed wins a prize!

Jeans for Genes Day – Friday 21 September
Everyone is invited to wear their jeans for the day. We will have a donations box in the reception area for any donations you would like to make. All donations go to the Jeans for Genes charity who support children with genetic disorders.

McMillian coffee and cake morning- 9.30am to 11.00am, Friday 28 September
Join us for coffee, tea and cakes to help raise money for the McMillian charity who support people facing cancer.

World smile day- Friday 5 October
Celebrating friendship and everything that makes us happy. Look out for our fun activities throughout the day.

The Annual Ugly Bugs Ball- 3.00pm to 4.30pm, Wednesday 31 October
Join us for a spooky party complete with a gruesome tea and frightening dancing, fancy dress is a must! Lots of games and prizes to be won.

Fireworks fun and games- 4.00pm to 5.00pm, Monday 5 November
Everyone is invited to our afternoon of fireworks fun. As well as giant firework paining we will serve hot chocolate and marshmallows.

Remembrance Day- Friday 9 November
The children will have a day of poppy making and they will display them in the reception area.

Nursery pyjama day- Friday 16 November
Wear your pyjamas to nursery day! As always requested by the children.

Pre-school Christmas Carol Concert and Christmas Social Evening for all the children – 6.30pm to 7.30pm, Friday 7 December
Join us for a carol concert and Christmas arts and crafts involving making reindeer food and Christmas decorations for your Christmas tree. We will also be serving mulled wine and mince pies.

Under 2’s Christmas parties – 3.30pm to 4.30pm, Tuesday 11 December
The children are invited to join their friends in their rooms for the annual Christmas party involving lots of food and games and a surprise delivery from Santa.

2+ year olds Christmas parties – 3.30pm to 4.30pm, Thursday 13 December
All children are invited to join their friends in their rooms for the annual Christmas party involving lots of food and games and a surprise delivery from Santa.

Christmas jumper day for Save the Children- Friday 14 December
Wear your Christmas jumpers to nursery! If you wish to make a donation we will have a donation box for in reception for Save the Children.

Christmas Lunch- Wednesday 19 December
One of our favourite days of the year, turkey with all the trimmings and jelly and ice cream for pudding! Yummy!



Coffee morning- 9.00am to 11.00am, Monday 14 January
Come along and enjoy a coffee or tea and some biscuits. Everyone is welcome and the room will be set up for the children to enjoy too.  Staff will be on hand to provide advice, a helping hand or just to enjoy a chat with.

Burns Celebrations – Friday 25 January
A day of celebrating with our Scottish friends! A special Burns lunch will be made by our lovely cook Keron, and we have a very special visitor who will be playing the bagpipes for us.

Chinese New Year – Tuesday 5 February
Or should we say Kung Hei Fat Choi!  As well as a delicious Chinese feast with the children joining together for the big meal, the children will try dragon dancing and making lanterns too.  We will also be joining in with the tradition of exchanging red letters with each other which we will do during our New Year meal.

Valentine’s Love Lunch – 11.30am to 12.30pm, Thursday 14 February
Parents are invited to join us for lunch prepared by the lovely Keron. The children can also send each other, or a loved one, a special Valentine’s card using the nursery Valentine’s post box!

International random act of kindness day – Monday 18 February
Throughout the day the children will take part in little tasks and activities to make their friends and families happy, as well and the community of Crowthorne.

World Book Day – Thursday 7 March
What is your favourite book? More importantly who is your favourite character? Today at nursery we are celebrating all of our favourite books and enjoying a fancy dress day. Children are invited to come to nursery dressed as their favourite character and bring their favourite book for us all to enjoy together.

Red Nose Day – Friday 15 March
It is that time of year again and we will be wearing our red noses to raise money for Comic Relief. The fancy dress code for the day will be announced nearer the time.

Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea – 3.30pm to 4.30pm, Friday 29 March
We invite all of our lovely mummies to join us for afternoon tea with your children. As well as delicious scones with cream and jam made by Keron, the children are sure to have a few surprises.  Grannies and aunties also welcome.

Easter Bonnet Parade and Easter Egg Hunt – 4.00pm, Thursday 18 April
Make the most fabulous Easter bonnet at home with your child and bring it along to our Easter bonnet parade and Easter egg hunt.

St George’s Day- Tuesday 23 April
Today we will celebrate St George’s Day by creating British flags and dragons on a large scale in the multi-purpose room.

International Dance Day – Monday 29 April
From street dance to jazz, today we celebrate all things dance and will try out different types of dancing with our friends. Which will be your favourite?
