What do Ofsted say about us?

Our last Ofsted inspection took place in June 2018 and the overall outcome was ‘GOOD’.

The inspection report highlights the following points:

‘The manager is a good leader.  She has a clear vision for the nursery and an accurate understanding of its strengths.  She has clearly identified areas for ongoing development.’

‘Staff build very warm partnerships with parents.  These have a positive impact on children’s care and outcomes.’

‘Children show high levels of well-being.  They are settled, happy and secure in the care of the kind and caring staff.’

‘Babies and very young children receive a very positive experience of being cared for away from home.’

‘Safeguarding is effective.  Staff have a thorough understanding of the steps to take if they are concerned about a child’s welfare.’

‘Staff make accurate, ongoing assessments about children’s progress and use these well to plan how to meet their individual needs.’

‘Staff meet children’s needs well.  They keep children safe and ensure that they get the sleep and rest that they need to enjoy a busy day at nursery.’

‘All children acquire a wide range of skills in preparation for their future learning and starting school.  They enjoy learning and the challenge of developing new skills.’
