What do Ofsted say about us?
Our last Ofsted inspection took place in May 2016 and the overall outcome was ‘GOOD’.
The inspection report highlights the following points:
‘Children make good progress from their starting points. They are motivated learners and are keen to take part in the well-planned adult-led activities.’
‘Staff accurately observe, assess, monitor and support children’s developmental progress. They provide a welcoming, exciting and stimulating environment that develops the children’s motivation to learn and explore.’
‘The manager works closely with the organisation, staff and local authority to evaluate and continually improve children’s care and learning. She confidently coaches, supports and trains staff to improve their teaching practice.’
‘Children are well behaved and co-operative. Staff provide positive role models for children to copy. They teach children to listen to and follow instructions and to treat others with kindness and respect.’
‘Children develop the key skills they need for starting school.’
