SUMMER TERM 2019

Father’s Day Breakfast – 8.00am to 9.00am, Friday 14 June
We are inviting all our daddies, uncles or grandads to join us for a delicious breakfast of sausage or bacon sandwiches to celebrate Father’s Day. If you can’t stay don’t forget to take your sandwich with you for a little treat on your way to work.

Royal Ascot Day – Thursday 20 June
The children will be creating their own hats or top hats in celebration of this exciting local event.

Nursery Sports Day – 2.00pm to 4.00pm, Thursday 4 July
Time to get sporty! Join us at nursery and cheer on your child as they take part in a range of races such as egg and spoon, sack race, obstacle course and running races. We will have a picnic tea afterwards whilst admiring our medals!

Wimbledon – Wednesday 10 July
A day of practicing tennis with tennis rackets and tennis balls finished off with a lovely strawberries and ice cream tea.

Pre-school Leavers Graduation –2.00pm to 4.00pm, Friday 12 July
Time to say a tearful goodbye to our pre-school leavers as they take on their next big adventure in life and go off to big school! After the ceremony we will have a leavers picnic together and enjoy graduation cake.

Summer Fete – 10.00am to 2.00pm, Saturday 13 July
We are welcoming all families and friends to join us for an exciting Hawaii beach themed summer fete. As well as the traditional cake stall, tombola, jolly jars and other local small businesses, we also have an ice cream van, face painting and a childrens entertainer. New children who register on the day with us can have free registration.

‘On our holidays’ week – Monday 12 to Friday 16 August
Every day will feel like a holiday during this special week at nursery. Sand castles, water play, sports and of course ice cream will help us to celebrate the week. The children will also look at everyone’s different holiday destinations over the week and learn all about new places in the UK and overseas.

Carnival Celebrations – Friday 23 August
Children will get into the carnival spirit by making beaded necklaces, fruit kebabs and dancing to carnival music. The pre-school children will also take part in glitter face painting so they can sparkle into the weekend!
